Happy 30th Birthday John!

I realize I'm a little late with this post since John's birthday was May 20th. I surprised him with a trip to New York City this past weekend to see a Yankees game. We had a fabulous time!

Water Sports

We spent the weekend up at the lake. Jack took his first ride on the boat and the jet ski! He has his own baby life jacket. (Ok, so we only let him sit on the jet ski for now...)

Lieutenant Hagan

John's brother Matt was commissioned as an officer in the Army on Friday. His branch is field artillery and his first duty station is Ft. Bragg, NC (the same Army base John started his military career at). Congrats Matt!!

Mother's Day

A bunch of yellow tulips and chocolate dipped strawberries...I have the best baby ever!! We had a wonderful Mother's Day.

Uncle "Ma"

Jack can't say his t's yet so Matt is just "Ma" for now. He loves his uncle though.

Couch Potato

My cousin Michelle and her fiance Craig just sent Jack this fabulous chair! Thank you!! He loves it - his own mini couch. He catapults himself onto it from the big couch. Just great...this kid is just trying to give me a heart attack with all his antics.

I just want to brag a little about John...

A month ago, John's boss called to tell me John had been nominated and selected to become a Professional Associate in his company. They wanted me to attend a special luncheon for him on May 2nd and it was all a surprise. I had to keep a secret for an entire month!! Trust me, it was hard...

I arrived for the lunch at the Downtown Club about 10 minutes early. When I stepped off the elevator, John was standing in the lobby and he was completely surprised to see me! He still didn't figure out what was going on until about 20 people showed up for lunch.

Only 7% of the entire company receives the status of Professional Associate and John is by far the youngest candidate. It was so nice to hear his boss and several coworkers stand up and say wonderful things about working with him.

He is still on Cloud Nine.
