Despite an overall lack of training from all of us, this was a great race on March 27th! Haley & I even managed our best times yet! We had our own personal cheering section just after mile 7. My Mom walked the kids to the race route since we ran right by SMU. Loved seeing them cheer us on!!

Fun with Grandma!

Grandma Rankin came to visit the last week of March. We loved having her here!! We packed in several adventures as usual...Day Out with Thomas, a bike ride to Yumilicious, a day at the Arboretum and a day at the zoo of course! Jack & Izzy wanted to ride the camel this time. I had to ride with Isabel but she loved it.
My Mom & I even managed some girl time...mani & pedi, shopping and happy hour at Si Tapas!

Day Out with Thomas

As a birthday surprise, we took Jack to A Day Out with Thomas at the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. He was so excited! They had mini trains, tattoos, legos, coloring, live music AND the best part - a 20 minute ride on Thomas the Train! We even got a photo with Sir Topham Hat.
