Plano Balloon Festival

We went to the Plano Balloon Festival last weekend. Jack loved it and wanted to ride the hot air balloons. Too bad you have to be at least 10 years old (plus it's like $250 per ride).

I was tempted to hop on John's back - just to see if he could carry the whole family. What good is his Ranger training if he can't handle all of us?

Isabel's Baptism

We had Isabel baptized at my parent's church (St. Marys) in Plantersville, TX on September 13th. We are lucky to have Hannah as her godmother. The ceremony was wonderful. Isabel was the only baby that didn't cry - she really loved the attention! My parents hosted a fabulous party afterwards. Thank you to all our friends and family that joined us to celebrate such a special day!!

First Day of School

Jack started school this past Thursday! It was rough leaving him from 9am-1pm but he loved it. A few tears from Jack & me but hopefully it'll get easier the longer he goes. His backpack is HUGE but it needs to be big enough for his lunchbox, a change of clothes, his folder, 3 diapers and brown bear of course.
