Baby Godzilla

Isabel loves making a mess in every room of the house. We call her baby Godzilla. Jack's trains never stand a chance when she is around.

Hermann Park Train

While in Houston for the half-marathon, we took the kids on a train ride in Hermann Park. It was freezing outside but both kids loved it!!

Sadly, not our best picture! We didn't have anyone snapping our photo during the race and we rushed off to breakfast at Empire Cafe after the race without taking our own photo by the car. The run was awesome though! We couldn't have asked for better weather. It felt so good, I was running faster than normal. My goal was to finish in just under 2 hours and I missed it by 1 minute 11 seconds. Oh well! Next time. John was wonderful at motivating me even when my feet felt numb those last 3 miles. Still not sure I'd ever run an entire marathon...

At Last!

One of Isabel's top teeth finally popped through last night! The other one is just about out. Poor baby has been so great through it all.

Cuddle Bug

Isabel just loves cuddling. Jack sat with her for about 5 seconds - long enough for me to snap a photo! ;) And she gladly sits with Poppa for a chance to watch TV...

Santa Photos

I should have uploaded these ages ago...
One of our new neighbors hosted a party with Santa at their house the first weekend in December. They also had a small train come to give the kids rides around the neighborhood! Jack was in heaven.

Isabel did not like Santa - she cried. Jack really liked Santa this year. He is crying in the last photo because his gift was NOT the big garbage truck he asked for. He didn't quite understand that he had to wait until Christmas morning.
