Mama, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys

We spent the weekend at John's Aunt & Uncle's 500 acre horse ranch in Bullard, TX. It was gorgeous! John's Aunt Martha loves horses and has over 40 on the property now - including several baby foals. Jack loved wearing his "cowboy" gear and riding Mo. She is an older mare that was very patient with the kids. Even Isabel rode and fussed when we took her off! We really hope a pony isn't on either of their Christmas lists this year...

Sea World

Last weekend, we ventured down to San Antonio to visit our friends, the Coles. They have a new baby boy (Elijah) that we wanted to meet. We took the kids to Sea World! It was FREE thanks to John & Seth being Army men. Jack, Isabel and Avery were in awe when they saw the Shamu show. Jack also loved riding the "roller coasters" for kids. All of the kids passed out when we left the park at 2pm.

Who Shot JR?

Oh yes we did. Over Memorial Day weekend, Jeannott requested a visit to the famous Ewing mansion from the show Dallas. I may need to rent some old shows since I'd never seen it but apparently it was a hit in Jeannot's home in Africa.
